If I had a
penny
I know I'd want a dime
If I had a million
All I'd want is time
Life's too short to gamble
I always would want more
Forgetting all the triumphs
That I had made before
No value can be placed
On happiness or treasures
Those memories kept stored away
As our lives' simple pleasures
Time cannot be measured
By material things
Yet I feel so rich inside
As each new daybreak brings
A time to spend with family
A son I adore
Memories that make me smile
These and so much more.
When I go to bed each night
I thank Him for the time
I know that I have billions,
A penny, and a dime.
