Stop Gambling Addiction Poetry

Written by Gamblers Who Have A Compulsive Gambling Addiction

Tell My Heart To Stop

Hunger from the dawn till night

Wonderful feelings holding me tight

Pain

Anger

Emotion

Selective thoughts should I take flight

Many days with feelings of fear

Precious thoughts holding you dear

Must move on, not let you near

Tell my heart to stop

I want you to let me move on

You must free me from your earthly bond

Walking

Running

Jumping

I can't take care, because no ones there

Empty hole, without a sole

Friend

Enemy

Both

Runs in circles like a mole

No one knows what's at stake

Time will tell perforate the gate

Tell my heart to stop

This was written by a compulsive gambler who knew she needed to stop gambling but did not know how.  The feeling of isolation comes through and you can see the struggle the gambler is going through.
